Below is a list of power-ups, including a selection of their sprites and artwork, and a list of their respective appearances in the [[Super Mario (franchise)|''Super Mario'' franchise]], as well as the year of their first appearance as a power-up. Power-ups are also categorized by the duration of their effects.
