A list of implied species that have not physically appeared in any form of media up to this point in time. Regardless of their lack of appearances, the implied species have been mentioned at least once throughout the Mario franchise.

Mario & Luigi series
Burping Beetle
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Burping Beetle is a type of insect briefly mentioned by Grubba while Mario was snooping around Glitz Pit during the events of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Apparently these creatures are common in the Glitz Pit as Grubba does not seem worried about them. As indicated by the name, they make a sound that resembles burping. They are only mentioned if the player, in order to cover Mario's tracks, selected "BRAAAP!".
Soybean civilization
Soybean civilization
The Soybean civilization are described by Fava's brother in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. They inhabited the Beanbean Kingdom before its current population, and were divided into several types.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
Business Bro
Vegebrodies
Business Bros. are a type of Hammer Bro whose existence is only implied in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. The only known Business Bro is Hamma Jamma's father, although there are very likely several more.
The Vegebrodies are a species mentioned in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. They fought Muscle Lord Biceptius for unknown reasons.

Paper Mario series
Business Bros. seem to be the Hammer Bro answer to the businessman. Therefore, it is assumed that Business Bros. lead a more laid back, controlled, and much less violent life in comparison to normal Hammer Bros. Also, as Hamma Jamma once told Mario, dropping out of Hammer Bros. school to go to Business Bros. school (as his father did) is a responsible (yet, according to him, lame) act.

As Hamma Jamma tells Mario, dropping out of Hammer Bros. school to go to Business Bros. school (as his father did) is a responsible (yet, according to him, lame) act.
Luff
The Luffs once made up a great kingdom. Their tale is told in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and, although they are never seen, they are integral to the deeper parts of Luigi's Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door adventure.

The Luffs were responsible for the forging of the Marvelous Compass, and they used its powers to take over the majority of the world. However, since the Luffs misused it, the compass cursed them, destroying their empire. Hoping that this would not happen to other kingdoms, a Luff boy named Cranberry broke the Marvelous Compass into seven parts, hiding six and keeping one with him in Rapturous Ruins. After a thousand years of sleep, Cranberry would become the last of the Luffs, and even he disappeared when awoken by Luigi, who intended to rebuild the Marvelous Compass.

Luff
The Luffs' part in Luigi's story was not yet over, however. After making it to Hatesong Tower, Luigi would soon hear the true intention of Minister Crepe: He had apparently always been planning to usurp the Marvelous Compass from Luigi's hands and reestablish the Luff Kingdom as his own. Luigi would not comply, and Crepe was soon defeated. The Luffian part in Mario had ended.
The Luffs are an ancient race mentioned in Luigi's stories and the Super Luigi book series in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Fitting with the food theme of Luigi's adventure, "Luff" may derive from "loaf" (as in a loaf of bread).

The Luffs created the Marvelous Compass, which they used to create an empire that spanned much of the world. The Luffs were later cursed by the compass due to their greed, causing the Luff empire to fall into ruin. The survivors of the empire's collapse, including a Luff boy named Cranberry, split the compass into seven parts to prevent a repeat of their fate. Cranberry kept one of the pieces and went to sleep in the Rapturous Ruins for 1,000 years, left as the last of his people, until he was awoken by Luigi; he disappeared after giving Luigi his piece of the compass and telling the story of his people.
Recordomeow
The Recordomeows are implied creatures seemingly found in Fort Francis. They are only mentioned in Chapters 3-1 and 3-4 of Super Paper Mario; they are presumed to be PatrolMeow-style kitten robots that are known to record Francis' beloved television programs.

While the Luffs are not mentioned again after Cranberry's disappearance in Luigi's account of his adventure, Super Luigi 5 tells that the villainous Minister Crepe intended to allow the Luff empire to rule again using the Marvelous Compass. Being defeated by Luigi shortly after revealing his intentions, Crepe did not succeed in accomplishing this.

Recordomeow
The Recordomeows are implied creatures seemingly found in Fort Francis. They are only mentioned in Chapters 3-1 and 3-4 of Super Paper Mario. They apparently record Francis's TV shows while he is away.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star
Ancient Stickerish
The Ancient Stickerish people are mentioned in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. In the Enigmansion, one text on a bookshelf reads "PAPERABBLESTICKEROBBLE DERRSTICKER STICKARONISTICK PAPERDAPERDOOPER STICKITYSTICKITYSTICKITY PAPEROOSKI PAPERDOODLE STICKERPAPERRAWK." Kersti claims to have not studied Ancient Stickerish since high school, and flunked her Ancient Stickerish class. However, she manages to translate it as "an ancient prophecy that fell from the Sticker Comet" that reads "The five lights...then the truth shall be revealed!"
