==Introduction==
The camera faces both teams of two players in their respective hovercrafts before panning behind them, at which point the screen splits in half (one half per team) and the game begins.
The minigame introduces a view of both players on each side sitting in their blue and red hovercrafts respectively. When the camera stops rotating behind both of them, the screen divides itself in half for each side, and the minigame starts.

The [[Wii#Wii Remote|Wii Remote]] is held sideways to play this minigame. Each team of two must attempt to beat the other team to the end of the course while avoiding water jets in the ground that will slow the teams down if hit. The only way to speed up is by going over a ramp. The player steers the hovercraft as one would steer a car. If both players steer in the same direction, the hovercraft will turn sharper.
In a hovercraft race, both teams must try and steer their hovercraft to the end first. They can do sharper turns if both teams steer the same direction. There are ramps to drive across along the way, which speed up players. However, players also have to avoid the water jet streams. The first side that makes it to the end wins.

==Ending==
==Ending==
The winning players celebrate on the ending platform, while the losing players, still in their hovercraft, are spun around on a water jet behind them.
Both players on the winning team celebrate for a few seconds on the platform at the end. Meanwhile, a water jet spins around the losers in their hovercraft, even if they had crossed the finish line secondly.
