On the way down, there are two paths to choose from, one which has Lantern Ghosts while another has coins and [[Red Coin]]s hidden among them. A left passage with coins contains a hidden Winged Cloud that spawns [[Star (Yoshi's Island series)|stars]]. Purple Yoshi then encounters a locked [[door]], in which it must ground pound breakable blocks to cause it to fall to a nearby door. The [[key]] to the door is contained in a [[crate]] to the left; Purple Yoshi can access the crate by breaking the breakable blocks above it and then ground-pounding the crate. To the right is a solid [[Rock Block]] that contains a Lantern Ghost and a Winged Cloud that provides Purple Yoshi with stars when hit.
