Ladida Plains is the first area Princess Peach encounters with Perry in Super Princess Peach. It is a plain located in the southern portion of the island. Like many first worlds, it is supposed to be simple, and help the player get used to the basics of the game. Many mechanics are introduced that will be used later on. The name is a pun on "La De Da".

Levels
Levels
*Ladida Plains 1-1
Ladida Plains 1-1
*Ladida Plains 1-2
The first level lays out the basics of the game. There are orange blocks which are breakable, and most give Peach coins, a crystal, or a heart.  There are also many Perry Blocks that will give the player hints about the controls. The three Goomba types are the only enemies in this level. Many Warp Pipes also appear.
*Ladida Plains 1-3

*Ladida Plains 1-4
Ladida Plains 1-2
*Ladida Plains 1-5
The second stage of Ladida Plains is the first level to introduce a Koopa Troopa in this game. A few techniques are learned, such as the Hill Slide. Huge orange blocks make an appearance, and a Glad Red Koopa is seen towards the end of the level.
*Ladida Plains 1-6

*Ladida Plains 1-7 (extra stage)
Ladida Plains 1-3
*Ladida Plains 1-8 (extra stage)
The level is somewhat simple, containing the first water section of the game. Plus, at the start of the level, a tiny log bridge is seen. Using the Rage vibe will burn it down, making it open.
*Ladida Plains 1-9 (extra stage)

Ladida Plains 1-4
This level introduces several enemies, including Cheep Cheeps, Mad Koopas, and Bob-ombs.

Ladida Plains 1-5
This level has a unique puzzle in it. Peach will find a room with different-colored floating mushrooms. The next room will have different colored flowers. Peach must hit the flowers in the order of the colors of the mushrooms to raise a pipe to the next area. The puzzle appears 3 times.

Boss Battle
Like all other areas of the game, Ladida Plains is made of five levels followed by a boss challenge. To reach the boss for the first time, Peach must complete a stylus challenge. The player must stretch the platforms to make Peach jump without falling or getting hit by Sad Paragoombas. After she has completed the mission, she will see a lone Toad encased in a bubble. With relief, the Princess runs over only to be stopped in her tracks as Petey Piranha (called Boss Piranha Plant in the glossary of the American version) appears and swallows the Toad whole. He then roars at her, and the battle begins.

Enemies
Petey Piranha
*Goombas
To defeat Petey Piranha, Peach must use the Gloom vibe to fill his mouth with water. This will only work once he opens up his mouth to spit out Nipper Plants. Once he has been filled with water, he will fall down, exposing his weak spot - his belly button. Peach must jump on his belly button to take off one hit point. This method is similar to the way he was defeated in Super Mario Sunshine.

*An ear-splitting roar that will damage Peach if she is close. It also pushes her to the sides of the stage.
*Shock waves that will speed across the ground at a high pace.
*If Peach takes too long to spray water into Petey's mouth, he will spit out a few Nipper Plants and a Vibe Crystal.
*Once her foe is down to 2 hit points (represented by skulls), he will fly up into the air and turn red. He will be quicker and hop around between attacks. His attacks will also be faster and stronger.
