| Kuff 'n' Klouts attack by making movements akin to playing leapfrog or by racing about the screen, shoulder to shoulder. Some Kuff 'n' Klouts perform each action in succession to one another. Kuff 'n' Klouts are invulnerable to all direct attacks, including [[Team up]], and they can be defeated only from a [[barrel]] or one of [[Squitter]]'s webs. If [[Dixie Kong]] or [[Kiddy Kong]] tries to attack a Kuff 'n' Klout, they take damage. Even when one twin is defeated, the other charges at the player characters and disappears offscreen. In the [[Donkey Kong Country 3 (Game Boy Advance)|remake]], the other twin just disappears after a few seconds.
