The only way to tell Kuff 'n' Klout apart is by their eye color; one of them has purple eyes while the other has green eyes. However, Kuff 'n' Klout both have green eyes in the game, and it is unknown which is which.

According to the game's credits, Kuff 'n' Klout belong to the "[[Kremling Kreeps]]" enemy class. Despite appearing in the game's staff roll, Kuff 'n' Klout do not appear until later, in Krematoa.
