They are silver trees that have rust on them and have green eyes. Their name is a play on the word "corrode" which makes sense as they are rusting. A Krode may also spawn a wrecking ball and toss it at the bros. which can be avoided by jumping, if it spins clockwise than it's aiming for Mario and if it spins anti-clockwise than it's aiming for Luigi.
