Some Krimps move faster than others, especially in later levels. When defeated in cascade levels, Krimps make a lower-pitched variation of [[Re-Koil]]'s cry, compared to the normal cry that originally belonged to [[Krusha]], [[Rambi]], and [[King K. Rool]]. Their cry also echoes when defeated in those levels. A Krimp also appears on the "Bash the Baddies!" [[Bonus Level]] title card, although activating the "COLOR" [[Cheat code|cheat]] shows a blue Krimp instead, despite none ever appearing; the color is closer to purple, since the Krimp shares an in-game palette with Dixie.
