| Kreepy Krow is the undead ghost form of Krow after his death in Krow's Nest. Kreepy Krow is the boss of Gloomy Gulch in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2, where he appears in his eponymous boss stage.

| |
| After Diddy and Dixie defeat Krow in Gangplank Galleon, his spirit leaves his body and flies off (which is only shown in the Game Boy Advance version). Later on their journey, the Kongs find Kreepy Krow on another crow's nest in Gloomy Gulch. The battle takes place on three different floors. On the first floor, Kreepy Krow sends three ghost Mini-Neckys and a regular one to charge at the Kongs. Beating the normal one spawns a Barrel. When this happens, Kreepy Krow flaps in a set pattern, attempting to injure the Kongs. They must quickly throw the Barrel to attack Kreepy Krow, and he then flies upward.
| |
| |
| While the Kongs climb to the next floor, Kreepy Krow drops large eggs at them. They must avoid the eggs to find Kreepy Krow on the next floor. Unlike last time, Kreepy Krow summons five ghost Mini-Neckys and a normal one, all of whom swoop faster. The Kongs must defeat the live Mini-Necky again and toss the spawned Barrel at Kreepy Krow. He flaps upward again, and then drops eggs while the Kongs climb on the rope but at a faster rate.
| | Kreepy Krow is the ghost form of the boss Krow. They are both Mini-Neckies. Kreepy Krow appears as the boss of Gloomy Gulch in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. After Krow dies, a ghost can be seen flying out. This ghost is Kreepy Krow. |
| |
| On the third floor, Kreepy Krow sends seven ghost Mini-Neckys and another regular one. They all swoop even quicker than the ones on the previous two floors. The Kongs must again beat the normal Mini-Necky and throw the Barrel that spawns at Kreepy Krow to defeat him and earn his Kremkoin.
| | After the Kongs travel throughout the spooky Gloomy Gulch, they will go to Kreepy Krow's nest. Venturing onto this structure, the Kongs will encounter Kreepy Krow. He will send out a barrage of ghost Mini-Neckies to attack the Kongs, who must avoid these spectral birds and jump on the alive Mini-Necky deployed by Krow to summon a barrel from the sky. Like the previous battle with Krow, the Kongs can hit Kreppy Krow with the barrel to attack him, causing him to advance higher into his spooky nest. |
| |
| In the Super NES version, Kreepy Krow does not appear as a member of the "Barnacled Bosses" group; dialogue and the Player's Guide treat him simply as Krow (with "Kreepy Krow" just being the level title), so his exclusion is probably for the same reason. However, a few magazine publications do refer to him as "Kreepy Krow" and in the Game Boy Advance version, he does have a separate appearance in the cast roll.
| | After this, a hook will drop nearby, and the Kongs must use these hook to climb ropes in order to reach the higher area where Kreepy Krow is located. Krow will then begin to throw eggs at the Kongs to try to attack them. The Kongs must dodge the eggs and jump in a barrel nearby to reach the deceased bird. Again, he will send a barrage of ghostly Mini-Neckies at the Kongs, but this time Kreepy Krow will send out Mini-Neckies. The Kongs must once again jump on the living Mini-Necky to summon a barrel again. This allows them to attack Kreepy Krow row, causing him to fly upwards, again. |

| | Hooks will then appear to allow the Kongs to climb the rope. The eggs Kreepy Krow sends down will this time become quicker than usual and the Kongs must evade the eggs quicker to jump into a barrel in order to reach the top of Kreepy Krow's exceedingly tall nest. When the Kongs reach Kreepy Krow for the third time, it will send a barrage of Mini-Neckies quickly and making them more numerous so the Kongs must evade the ghost Mini-Neckies quickly until the final living Mini-Necky comes out on which the Kongs must jump on to summon a barrel. Then, the Kongs must hit Kreepy Krow with the barrel for a third time to defeat Krow for a second time and for good. |

| |
| Kreepy Krow resumes his role as Gloomy Gulch's boss in Donkey Kong Land 2. Unlike Donkey Kong Country 2, it is not evident that Kreepy Krow is undead because him and Krow share the same sprites. This is most likely because the Game Boy's palette is limited to a few colors. Additionally, he once again is not listed separately in the cast, though Nintendo Power treats him separately. | |
| |
| At the start of the boss battle, Kreepy Krow sends four Mini-Neckys (it is unknown where they are alive or undead). Unlike the previous game, Diddy and Dixie are not required to defeat any of the Mini-Neckys because an egg, instead of a Barrel, falls on the stage after each one is dodged. The active Kong must throw it at Kreepy Krow. The pattern repeats a second time. After being hit again, Kreepy Krow flies upward, and drops eggs at the active Kong while they climb up.
| | For the SNES version of the game, Kreepy Krow does not appear as a member of the "Barnacled Bosses" group. However, in the Game Boy Advance version, he does appear as a member. |
| |
| On the second floor, Kreepy Krow sends four more Mini-Neckys to attack the active Kong. Unlike last time, the egg briefly bounces after falling down. The Kongs must throw the egg at Kreepy Krow. Like on the lower floor, this cycle repeats again. After the fourth hit, Kreepy Krow is defeated, and the Kongs earn his relinquished Kremkoin.
