The '''Koopa Troopa Car''' is a vehicle introduced in ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]'' that allows the player to drive on their created courses. It is exclusive to the ''[[Super Mario 3D World]]'' style. A [[Beach Koopa]] initially occupies it and attempts to drive it into the playable character. The player can take control of the car by defeating the Beach Koopa and jumping inside the car. When a player starts up the car, it takes a brief period of time to start moving. While driving it, the player can travel quickly and run over almost any enemy in its path. It is destroyed after crashing it into certain objects three times; each time it does so, the visual quality of it deteriorates. The player can also honk the horn by pressing {{button|ns|Down}} while driving.

In multiplayer, a player can [[Ground Pound]] another player who is in a Koopa Troopa Car to knock them out of it and gain control over the car for themselves.
