The '''Koopa Clown''' is a [[kart]] in the ''[[Mario Kart (series)|Mario Kart]]'' series, based upon [[Bowser]]'s [[Koopa Clown Car]]. The emblem is located on the rear.

Although it does not appear in the original ''[[Mario Kart 8]]'', the kart reappears in ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'' as an unlockable kart body. It is redesigned to appear smaller. The exhaust pipes are shorter and it is equipped with a pair of propellers that open up on gliders and [[anti-gravity]] segments. Other design aspects were also changed to make it better resemble the actual Koopa Clown Car, such the exhaust pipe placed in its mouth being removed. The tips of the propellers also have a secondary color. Much like the [[Landship]], the kart has different palette colors for each of the [[Koopalings]], which match the colors of the Koopa Clown Cars they use in ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS]]'', ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Wii U|for Wii U]]'', and ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate|Ultimate]]''. For other characters, it uses the default green color. Its engine sound is shared with the [[Biddybuggy]] and it sounds like an inline-four turbo. CPU [[Bowser]], [[Bowser Jr.]] and the [[Koopalings]] occasionally use this body during races. It gives off a small boost to weight, water speed, handling, water handling, and the highest boost to traction, while speed, acceleration, and mini-turbo are hindered. It shares its stats with the [[Tanooki Kart]] and the [[Master Cycle Zero]].

The Koopa Clown returns in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', where it is classified as a Super kart. It was added in the [[Tokyo Tour]] and uses its ''Mario Kart 8 Deluxe'' design. In this game, the kart is equipped with the [[Standard (tire)|Standard]] tires from ''Mario Kart 8'' and ''Mario Kart 8 Deluxe''. Unlike in ''Mario Kart 8 Deluxe'', the rim does not change color regardless of whether a [[Koopalings|Koopaling]] is using it or not. The kart's propellers also no longer pop out while the kart is gliding. The Koopa Clown increases the duration of [[Mini-Turbo]] boosts and the amount of points earned for performing Mini-Turbos.
