However, when a Klamber is found climbing on a solid wall, it can only be defeated by using [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]] to eat it or spray it with [[juice]]. Spraying Klambers with water from [[F.L.U.D.D.]] will briefly immobilize them. Unlike [[Red Electrokoopa]]s, Klambers always knock Mario off the cage if they damage him.

Three of the Klambers in Ricco Harbor release a [[Blue Coin]] after being defeated, while others found there and elsewhere may give a regular [[coin]] or nothing at all.
