'''King Windbag''' is a ruler who featured prominently in the ''[[The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3|Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3]]'' episode "[[Life's Ruff]]".

In the episode, [[Princess Peach|Princess Toadstool]] had become increasingly concerned over King Windbag's cold-hearted, bullying attitude and had sent [[Luigi]] to sort things out with him. Shortly after arriving at King Windbag's castle, Luigi and Windbag were attacked by [[Lemmy|Hip]] and [[Iggy|Hop Koopa]], who stole the king's [[Magic Wand|Magic Wand]] and turned him and Luigi into dogs.

King Windbag and Luigi attempted to give chase to Hip and Hop and ended up chasing them through a [[Warp Pipe]] to [[Miami]], Florida. As Luigi was chasing down Hip and Hop through a dinner party, Windbag was captured by [[Herman (The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3)|a dog catcher]], who later captured Luigi.

While in the [[Florida State Poochitentiary|dog-pound]], King Windbag is forced by Luigi to cooperate with several dogs to escape the pound. Succeeding in their escape, Windbag and Luigi manage to track-down Hip and Hop to the Kennedy Space Center, and, after some trouble with the dog catcher, manage to capture the [[Koopalings|Koopaling]] twins.

King Windbag manages to reclaim his scepter and returns himself, Luigi, Hip and Hop back to [[Mushroom Kingdom]]. As a result of his experiences in Florida, Windbag's heart of ice melts, and he vows to "turns over a new leaf" and become a kind king and stop bullying his servants.

All though it isn't outright stated in the show, King Windbag is most likely the ruler of [[Ice Land]], as the title card for this episode features the world map for Ice Land from [[Super Mario Bros. 3]]. The writer's bible for the show also mentions Ice Land as a location the main group visits, whilst flashing an image of King Windbag's castle.
