Kiddy Kong is a playable character and the sidekick of Dixie Kong in the games Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III. ====Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!====
In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, Kiddy is first found by Dixie at Funky's Rentals, where Funky Kong gives her Kiddy to babysit. Together, the two Kongs start their adventure searching for the missing Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. At the end of their adventure in Kastle Kaos, they discover the new leader of the Kremling Krew, KAOS, is a robot operated by Baron K. Roolenstein. In the post-game, Wrinkly Kong asks both Kongs to find the hidden Banana Birds hidden across the Northern Kremisphere to rescue the imprisoned Banana Queen.

Months after the Kong Family's victory against Kaptain K. Rool and his Kremling Krew in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2, Kiddy Kong visits Funky Kong at his shop in the Northern Kremisphere. The young toddler spends his time playing with the various unusual items he can find in Funky's Rentals. Of course playing for Kiddy Kong involves activities such as chewing on old spare tires. In fact, as Kiddy is gnawing on a tire, Dixie Kong happens upon Funky's Rentals. His cousin is searching for Donkey and Diddy Kong, who had gone exploring the DK Isles but had not returned home for two days. Funky tells Dixie that the only visitor he had all week was Kiddy. Knowing that the toddler's strength could come in handy in her search, Funky asks if Dixie wants to take Kiddy along with her. Dixie agrees, and together they journey through the Northern Kremisphere on the hunt for Donkey and Diddy Kong.

In the Game Boy Advance version, Kiddy is unable to compete in the Swanky's Dash minigame, so only Dixie can participate.
While on their journey, Dixie and Kiddy Kong notice an unusual amount of Kremling activity in the Northern Kremisphere, inferring that the Kremling Krew may have been responsible for the disappearance of Donkey and Diddy Kong. During their exploration of the Kremling factories on Mekanos, the Kongs are confronted by the robotic entity known as KAOS. The robot vows to destroy the Kongs, as he is apparently the new Master of the Kremling Krew. Although the robot put up a tough fight, Kiddy's strength combined with Dixie's agility eventually overwhelms KAOS. The robot retreats, and the Kongs continue their search for Donkey and Diddy. Ultimately, Kiddy and Dixie Kong track KAOS to his castle in KAOS Kore. After besting the robot in another fight, the Kongs discover King K. Rool, in his Baron K. Roolenstein alias, controlling KAOS from behind the scenes. The de facto Kremling Master engages the Kongs in battle. Although Roolenstein uses a number of advanced weapons against the Kongs, Dixie and Kiddy Kong eventually emerge victorious. In the end, Donkey and Diddy Kong are revealed to be inside of KAOS during the entire adventure. They essentially served as the batteries that powered the powerful robot. With Donkey and Diddy Kong rescued, and K. Rool defeated, Dixie and Kiddy Kong emerge as heroes.

In Donkey Kong Land III, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong enroll in a contest in searching for the Lost World, and Dixie is left behind to babysit Kiddy Kong. She decides to participate in the contest and takes Kiddy along with her. The Kongs find out that Baron K. Roolenstein and the Kremling Krew are also searching for the Lost World. After defeating Baron K. Roolenstein, Dixie and Kiddy prove themselves heroic. It can be assumed that they won the Lost World contest.
However, their adventure is far from over. Kiddy and Dixie Kong are also charged by Wrinkly Kong with finding the Banana Birds hidden across the continent. After defeating Baron K. Roolenstein again in the hidden world of Krematoa, collecting all the DK Coins of the Northern Kremisphere, and acquiring the Gyrocopter from Funky Kong, Dixie and Kiddy Kong are able to find all the Banana Birds. After traveling to Wrinkly's Save Cave, the birds bring the Kongs before the Banana Bird Queen, who had been imprisoned by Baron K. Roolenstein. With all the birds united, the queen is able to free herself from her enchanted prison. Ultimately, the Banana Bird Queen is successful in driving Roolenstein out of the Northern Kremisphere. As Baron K. Roolenstein attempts to escape the continent in a hovercraft, the Banana Bird Queen launches a giant egg at the Kremling leader. Kiddy and Dixie Kong ride on the top of this egg to its inevitable target. The egg crashes directly into K. Rool, trapping the Kremling leader inside, while Kiddy and Dixie Kong joyfully sit on top of the Kremling's new prison. Order had been restored to the Northern Kremisphere, and Baron K. Roolenstein had finally got his just desserts. At least for the time being.

Soon after the events of Donkey Kong Country 3, Kiddy Kong goes on another adventure through the Northern Kremisphere. During the events of Donkey Kong Land III, Kiddy Kong joins Dixie Kong in her quest to find the Lost World. A contest to find the Lost World is being held in the Northern Kremisphere, and the one who finds the hidden land first is rewarded with great treasures. As usual, Donkey and Diddy Kong leave in search of the Lost World without asking Dixie to join them. To show the heroes that she is just as adventurous as they were, she takes Kiddy Kong under her wing again. Dixie Kong is out to prove that she and Kiddy Kong can best Donkey and Diddy Kong as the superior adventurers. Unfortunately, Baron K. Roolenstein, now restored to power in the Kremling Krew, is also looking for the Lost World. After traveling through many lands, Kiddy and Dixie Kong ultimately discover the Lost World and confront Roolenstein in combat. Of course, they once again best the Kremling leader. In the end, Dixie and Kiddy Kong prove they are every bit as heroic as Donkey and Diddy Kong. Not only do they discover the Lost World before the duo, they also manage to defeat the Kremling Krew on their own a second time.

Physical Description
Kiddy Kong has the typical ape-like attributes associated with every Kong, and his appearance has currently never changed. He is a portly toddler who wears light blue pajamas and sometimes a green pacifier. His pajamas are short sleeved with a few yellow, round buttons on them, and his pants go all the way around his feet. Because of Kiddy's short and small legs, his pajamas appear to be a little to big for him. Kiddy's arms, however, appear to be quite long and burly, showing the ape's strength. Even as a toddler, he is much bigger than his partner, Dixie Kong, in size, and is about the same size as Donkey Kong. However, because he is so large, he is shown to be very heavy, and he can hardly be lifted up by Dixie.

Club Nintendo - "Donkey Kong in: Banana Day 24"
Kiddy Kong's hair appears to be a dark brown color, but it is a little brighter near the top of his head. The ape's hair also has a point in it, much like Donkey Kong's hair. His eyes are also brown, and they resemble Dixie and Diddy Kong's large eyes. Kiddy is shown to be a little chubby, as his mouth is much bigger than any other part of his face. His cheeks are also very big, making his mouth look even bigger than any other Kongs' mouth. While his mouth is very big, he has very small ears.
In the Club Nintendo comic "Donkey Kong in: Banana Day 24", a huge UFO begins pulling the Earth away from the sun, resulting in a sudden drop of temperature all over the planet. ==Powers and Abilities==

Kiddy Kong's trademark technique is his amazing rolling ability. Rolling allows Kiddy to defeat many types of enemies, as well as enhance his jumping ability. If he rolls off a ledge then jumps, he can make leaps that are much longer than the average jump. Kiddy can also skip across bodies of water by rolling off dry land and jumping just as he hits the surface. In fact, he can make multiple rolling jumps across the water that get progressively higher with each successive skip. This ability allows Kiddy to traverse long sections of water without having to swim through enemy-infested territory, not that Kiddy Kong couldn't maneuver through such an obstacle. Although he is very heavy, Kiddy can't sink in water – he is in fact quite an adept swimmer.

Uho'uho Daishizen Gag: Donkey Kong
Like many other heroes in the world, Kiddy Kong is a great jumper. He can use his jumping abilities to reach new heights or stomp enemies from above. Additionally, Kiddy Kong holds barrels and other objects in front of his body, using such objects as shields when he runs into enemies. Given his strength, he can pick up objects and certain incapacitated enemies and throw them with ease. On a side note, Kiddy Kong likes to throw objects underhand. Like the other Kong heroes, Kiddy has decent running ability. Although young, he can climb as well as any other member of the Kong Family.

Kiddy appears in one chapter of the Uho'uho Daishizen Gag: Donkey Kong manga, in a semi-adaptation of the "Baby Kong Blues" episode, replacing the titular character.

Funky Kong is taking care of his little cousin Kiddy when work calls and he asks DK to watch him in the meantime. DK can hardly deal with Kiddy's strength and, on his way to greet Candy, loses the baby and goes on a wild-goose chase in order to save him from the dangers like the Barrelworks' conveyor belts, the factory's Rocket Barrel, a lake full of giant Bitesizes, and a waterfall. Similar to the show, Kiddy comes undamaged from all of these situations, unlike DK who is worn out by the time Funky returns to take his baby cousin back.
Some abilities of Kiddy Kong are only revealed when he teams up with his cousin Dixie. Using his considerable strength, Kiddy can throw Dixie incredible distances. By tossing Dixie Kong upwards, Kiddy can help her reach areas and objects that are not within their jumping range. Dixie Kong can also pick up and throw her heavy cousin. When thrown upwards, Kiddy Kong will come crashing down, smashing through fragile areas in the ground. This often reveals Bonus Barrels and other secrets. Lastly, if Dixie Kong throws Kiddy against a wall, then jumps on her cousin before the toddler stops rolling, she can ride on top of him as if he were a Steel Barrel.
<br clear=all>

Unlike Baby Kong, Kiddy has no misadventures with the Kremlings.
Personality
Kiddy Kong, as his name implies, has a childish personality. At times he can act like a "crybaby." For example, when Kiddy loses an extra life, he throws a hissy fit, cries, and slams his fists on the ground (however, it should be noted that Dixie Kong also weeps when she loses an extra life, although she does not throw a tantrum like Kiddy does). He is simple and curious like a child Dixie first found Kiddy chewing on an old tire, and when the player is not controlling him he will often pull on his sock. Kiddy is also intrepid and courageous, braving the obstacles set up by the Kremling Krew fearlessly. He seems caring as well, seeing that he is willing to lend his cousin Dixie a helping hand in her quest to save Donkey and Diddy Kong. However, the toddler likely does not understand the greater consequences of his actions. For example, if Kiddy and Dixie Kong get a game over, the two will be imprisoned in a crib with child's toys. While Dixie is clearly upset over being captured, the arrangement suits Kiddy Kong just fine. Kiddy Kong is also considered to have a personality similar to Donkey and Diddy Kong, as he seems to be getting into trouble all the time. Ultimately, Kiddy Kong is a toddler, so he has the mannerisms of a typical toddler.

APPEARS IN: DKC 3

Many of the Kongs find it alarming that Kiddy has reached such a size at the tender age of three, and the fact that he seems to be curious and mischievous in proportion to his growth doesn't make things any easier for those who get themselves involved in babysitting. It was Dixie who found herself lumbered with this little cousin on her most recent escapade, during which Kiddy proved that the traditional Kong adventuring abilities (not to mention sheer brute strength) still run in the family. He's as wary of Kremlings as you'd expect for a kid of his age, but once he gets frustrated it's the Krems who'd better watch out...

**Furthermore, Tiny Kong was another name considered; it would later become the name of a different character debuting in Donkey Kong 64, released three years later after the release of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!.
*Kiddy Kong is the first playable Kong in the Donkey Kong Country series to not have the initials "DK" in his English name.
