In ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]'', [[Pink Coin (Super Mario Maker)|Pink Coins]] take the form of pink-colored Key Coins in the ''Super Mario 3D World'' style. Additionally, [[Key]]s themselves resemble the one depicted on the sides of a Key Coin while in this style.

Key Coins are present in the [[Super Nintendo World]] theme park areas, where they are simply known as '''keys'''. The keys are guarded by [[Bowser Jr.]]'s minions and attendees are required to collect three of them in the [[Super Nintendo World#Power-Up Band Key Challenges|Power-Up Band Key Challenges]] in order to access Bowser Jr. Shadow Showdown.
