Kaboings are enemies introduced in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. They are Klomps except they have two peg legs, which appear to be fashioned from retractable spyglasses, and Kaboings have to bounce to move around. They act as the successors of the jumping Kritters from Donkey Kong Country, though Re-Koils would inherit their behavior in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III.

History
Kaboings are gray and green colored Klomps and members of the Kremling Krew. Instead of possessing one peg-leg like Klomps, Kaboings have two.
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
Kaboings are enemies in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. They are first encountered in Gangplank Galley. Kaboings are mainly beige, but some green Kaboings appear in some of the later levels. Kaboings have a set pattern of bouncing around the level. Oftentimes, a Kaboing stands on a platform, waiting for Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong to be in sight before jumping off. Kaboings exist in beige and green color varieties, with the latter type moving slightly faster and jumping slightly higher than their beige counterpart. In the cast roll, Kaboings are classified as part of the "Kremling Kuthroats".

Donkey Kong Land 2
Kaboings are first encountered in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest as common enemies. Due to having two peg-legs, Kaboings are incapable of walking normally and instead bounce and attempt to land on or slam into Diddy or Dixie. A simple bonk on the head is enough to defeat a Kaboing.
Kaboings are enemies in Donkey Kong Land 2. All of them behave identically to beige Kaboings from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, lacking any color variety. Kaboings appear in some more levels than in the previous game.

Profiles and statistics
In some later levels of the game the light green version of Kaboings are encountered. These green Kaboings can jump slightly higher and move slightly faster. In Web Woods, green Kaboings wait on higher platforms to jump down and ambush Squitter.
