The Kongs can safely cross over these pits by jumping from giant, rolling [[Tire (object)|tires]], which also allow them to reach some higher areas. In specific parts of the level, the tires fall down onto the path and begin to roll—while these objects do not hurt the Kongs, they can easily shove the Kongs down into a pit. [[Zinger]]s appear more commonly than the other enemies.

This jungle level has spikes all over the place, and giant [[tire]]s rolling out of control that can hurt [[Diddy]] and [[Dixie Kong]]. If the [[Kong]]s plan their moves, they'll realize that they can bounce atop the tires, and use them as stepping stones to cross the spikes, in addition to reaching higher ground. [[Klampon]]s, [[Kutlass]], [[Zinger]]s, [[Flitter]]s and [[Spiny (Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest)|Spinys]] can be found here.

==Items and objects==
At this point, the heroes need to continue east and cross a wide abyss with a good jump. Then, they must keep going forward and jump over another gap, which has a Zinger in the center of it. Once they get over this gap, they need to walk along the jungle path, where they'll find yet another abyss. The group should hop across this, and then travel eastward more. Eventually, they will have to drop down a ledge again and cross three wide gaps, while also dodging Zinger and Klampons. Once past this area, they need to avoid more foes through the crazy jungle. As they move on, the heroes will have to jump over two small abysses, and watch out for Zingers, Klobbers, and even a Kruncha. Soon, they will come up to an abyss, although a long log acts as a bridge to help them cross. The Kongs should carefully, cross and look out for the hazards around them, such as Zingers. After this, though, they will find a spring, and it will bounce them out of the level.

Before the Star Barrel, the Kongs should investigate the abyss behind the Flitter. They will see the letter O, which they must roll to, and then jump to the left to land into the [[Bonus Barrel]]. In it's [[Bonus Level]], the heroes needs to use their [[Team Up]] move to throw a monkeys into the above Flitters. They must beware, though, as red Zingers orbit those foes, and can end the Bonus Stage with one touch. When all the Flitters are beat, the [[DK Coin]] will appear, instead of the usually obtained [[Kremkoin]].
