Jumping Fire Piranha Plants are a fire-breathing type of Jumping Piranha Plant that appears only in Super Mario World. Jumping Fire Piranha Plants are introduced in Cookie Mountain and the Special Zone. They mainly appear in the level Outrageous. A lone Jumping Fire Piranha Plant is also found in the level Groovy, and another one is found in Funky. Jumping Fire Piranha Plants behave a lot like Jumping Piranha Plants, except they also spit fireballs on both sides of them like Volcano Lotuses, though a Jumping Fire Piranha Plant spits only two fireballs at once rather than four and they fall downwards in an arc. Jumping Fire Piranha Plants are rare as there are only seven of them that appear in the entire game.

Like with other Piranha Plants, Jumping Fire Piranha Plants' heads turn into jack-o'-lanterns after the player beats Funky in the original game or completes all 96 exits in the Game Boy Advance version.
Fire P-Pakkun are fire breathing versions of Jumping Piranha Plants that only appear in Super Mario World and its remake. One appeared in Cookie Mountain. in the Special Zone. They mainly appear in the level Outrageous. A lone Fire P-Pakkun is also found in the level Groovy, and another one is found in Funky. They behave a lot like Jumping Piranha Plants except that they can also spit two fireballs similar to Fire Piranha Plants, though a Fire P-Pakkun's fireball goes in two separate directions. They are rare as there are only seven of them that appear in the entire game.

While Jumping Fire Piranha Plant's do not reappear in Paper Mario: The Origami King, regular Jumping Piranha Plant can spit fireballs just like them
