| Nobuyoshi Suzuki, the sound designer of ''Super Mario Odyssey'', wrote the first draft of the lyrics in Japanese. According to [[Yoshiaki Koizumi]], they had a discussion on whether words such as "[[Extra life|1UP]]" should be used.
