Joke's End is inhabited by [[Jojora]] and [[Jojora's friends|her friends]]; despite one line of dialogue stated by Jojora<ref>''"Eh? Me? I'm Jojora. I'm the buddy of the cousin of the descendant of the spirit who once guarded this palace."'' -Jojora, ''Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga''</ref> suggesting that there are or have been more people living in Joke's End, they seem to be its only occupants, besides a single [[Beanish]] character, presumably a visitor, seen on the entrance staircase. Keeping with the theme of locations in the Beanbean Kingdom being named after laughter sounds ([[Chucklehuck Woods]], [[Teehee Valley]], [[Hoohoo Mountain]], etc.), Joke's End is also known to be a graveyard for bad jokes, though none of these dead jokes are seen. Throughout Joke's End, Mario and Luigi often must split up to solve puzzles and progress.
