After being defeated by Shadow in [[3000m Steeplechase]], Jet agrees to help the group, and finds the machine but fails to destroy it. After [[Bowser Jr.]] is defeated, Jet suggests that the group splits up to investigate some of the other fog around London, pointing Sonic and Tails towards the [[British Museum]].
