If a player lands on this space in ''Mario Party 2'', the player will play an item [[minigame]] for a chance to get an item. The minigame varies on the board being played.

In ''Mario Party 3'', the player either plays an Item minigame or is visited by either [[Toad]] or [[Koopa Kid|Baby Bowser]], who will ask the player a question. The Item minigame that is played whenever a player lands on this space is chosen by a roulette from a list of them, rather than having a single game for each board like in ''Mario Party 2''.

Baby Bowser's questions are "yes-or-no" questions, such as "Do you like to study?". Childish answers generally earn the player more/better items. More mature answers may cause him to say "Don't go around saying stuff just so people will like you!" and give the player nothing.

Toad's questions are choice-oriented, such as "What kind of item would you most like to have?", and offer three possible choices. Greedy answers (depending on the player's ranking) are more likely to cause Toad to leave and give the player nothing. More generous answers generally net the player more/better items, or possibly a rare item.

If the player already has three items in his or her possession and/or it is the last turn of the game, the space has no effect.

They look largely the same as in ''Super Mario Party'', being green-colored spaces with a Mushroom depicted on it, but this time, they function more similarly to the ones in ''Mario Party 2'' and ''Mario Party 3''. When the player lands on the space, they are sent to play an item minigame, where they have a chance to gain an item. The items that can be received from the minigames are:

However, when playing the standard Party Rules, there is also a symbol for a minigame within the roulette, where the player will instead play an item minigame, giving the player more control on their item choice.
