While traveling up the mountain, the heroes can find and enter a cave that leads them to a cave where the Puddle is. A side path of the neighboring cave also leads to the Darkmess Puddle. The Puddle must be cleared out in a battle, and the goal is to defeat all of the [[Scoper]]s to win. After the battle is won, the quest is complete, and the heroes are awarded a [[Planet Coin]].

The battle is always random, but the heroes must defeat all of the Scopers to win the battle. There are also a few [[Deep Freeze]]s. After all of the Scopers are defeated, the battle is won.
