House of Riddles is a location in Shogun Studios in Paper Mario: The Origami King where the player solves a puzzle to receive a reward. The layout of the House of Riddles is three sections. The middle has a sign that hints on how to solve the puzzle. The other two sides have Japanese mattresses and sliding doors. Mario has to slide the doors and flip the mattresses to make it symmetrical. By doing this, the doors in the middle open up to reveal a treasure chest. Inside the treasure chest is a MAX UP Heart.

The House of Riddles is a location in Paper Mario: The Origami King. It is one of numerous attractions featured at Shogun Studios. It is a building found at the northwest end of the park, north of both the Lookout Tower and Dress-Up Photo Studio. Visiting this attraction is entirely optional.

Initially, however, the House of Riddles is blocked off by a dozing Paper Macho Koopa Troopa. To awaken it, Mario must hammer the bell at the top of the nearby Lookout Tower, allowing him to enter the House of Riddles. Additionally, the building itself cannot be entered until the Shogun Studios Master Key is acquired.

This attraction is simply a puzzle Mario must solve for a reward. The building is divided into three rooms. The rooms on the left and right are nearly identical, though are mirrored and have some minor differences. There is a sign in the middle of the room with inverted text, this serving as a clue. Mario must slide the doors and flip the mattresses to make the rooms symmetrical. Doing this slides open the doors in the middle to reveal a treasure chest containing a MAX UP Heart worth five additional HP.
