They are yellow frogs and look exactly like [[Frogoon]]s, the only difference being than Hopgoons are yellow in color. However, instead of inflating themselves in one place, Hopgoons move around the level and can hop over gaps. [[Donkey Kong]] and [[Diddy Kong]] can easily defeat them with a jump, by rolling into them, with [[Rambi the Rhinoceros|Rambi]], or with a [[barrel]].
