The English name of this item is based off the [[wikipedia:Coffee production in Colombia|Colombian]] blend of coffee. The drink requires 15 [[Bean|Woo Bean]]s and 10 [[Bean|Hoo Bean]]s to create (6 and 4 in the remake, respectively). When [[Mario]] or [[Luigi]] drinks this item, they receive a permanent boost to their POW stat by 4 points (2 in the remake). Dialogue that was [[list of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga pre-release and unused content|cut from the game]] indicated that the Hoolumbian was specifically intended to go to [[Samus|Samus Aran]] in her cut cameo appearance.
