The '''Holiday Tour''' was the seventh tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on December 18, 2019 and ended on December 31, 2019. Due to this tour taking place during Christmas and New Year's Eve, a variant of [[Yoshi]] in a {{wp|Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer}} outfit and a variant of [[Pauline]] in a New Year's party outfit appeared as spotlight characters. This tour also introduced [[Birdo]] as a playable character for the first time in the series since ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]''. Like the [[Winter Tour (2019)|2019 Winter Tour]] and the [[London Tour]], [[festive tree]]s were added on all courses featured during the first week of the tour; hitting one with an item during a race would grant "Happy Holidays!" bonus points. The tour also introduced a new bonus challenge, [[Combo Attack]], as well as a new [[classic course]], [[3DS Rainbow Road|Rainbow Road]] from ''[[Mario Kart 7]]''. This tour also introduced a new variant of the [[Tour New York Minute|New York Minute]] course, [[Tour New York Minute|New York Minute 2]]. This tour also introduced the R/T variants of [[SNES Mario Circuit 1]], [[N64 Kalimari Desert]], and [[3DS Cheep Cheep Lagoon]]. This is the first tour where a new version of the same city appears in the same year. The menu's background featured the [[Empire State Building]] as the landmark for this tour.

Starting from this tour, [[Pauline]] is now available in regular tour pipes.
