The pitcher throws a ball, and the player must catch it by moving left and right. Sometimes, the pitcher throws curve-balls, so the player must be ready for a ball traveling in either direction. On level two, the mitt is a third smaller, and on level three, it is two thirds smaller.

The player fails the microgame if the baseball [[Fourth wall|hits the screen]] or hits the boy's face.
