If the player hits {{button|n64|A}} at the moment before impact, the attack will do a second hit doing the same amount of damage. Headbonk deals one damage per hit initially. This increases to two at [[Super Rank]] and three at [[Ultra Rank|Ultra]]. The move's 2-hit pattern limits its usefulness against foes with Defense, but also gives it greater effect from power boosts.
