The '''Hard Pants''' are [[clothing|gear]] in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga]]'' and ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions]]'', available for purchase in the [[Castle Town Fashion House]] after defeating the [[Chuckolator]].

In the original, they are exclusive to [[Mario]] and give a [[defense|DEF]] boost of 18 points. They cost 125 coins in the Japanese version and 130 coins in international versions.

In the remake, they can now be worn by both Mario and [[Luigi]], and give a DEF boost of 24 points, as well as a [[Bros. Point|BP]] boost of 6 points. In addition, they have the Auto Guard effect, making them automatically activate the Emergency Guard before an enemy hits the wearer. They now cost 350 coins.
