The '''Halloween Tour''' was the fifty-fifth tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on October 20, 2021 and ended on November 2, 2021. It marked the first instance of three [[List of tours in Mario Kart Tour|tour]]s sharing the same name. First announced at the start of the [[Autumn Tour (2021)|2021 Autumn Tour]], the tour introduced a new vampire-themed variant of [[Waluigi]], as well as a new third variation of the [[Tour London Loop|London Loop]] course, named London Loop 3. This tour was also the second tour in a row and the third tour overall to include [[Pumpkin|Jack-o'-lantern]]s scattered across courses. [[Rosalina|Rosalina (Halloween)]] and [[Mario|Mario (Halloween)]] (who both appeared as the week 1 spotlight drivers in the previous Halloween Tours) reappeared as spotlights for the second week. This was the first Halloween Tour to not feature [[DS Luigi's Mansion]]. This was also the only tour to feature the R/T variant of London Loop 3. 

This tour continued the Autumn Celebration that started in the previous tour, the Autumn Tour. Like that tour, it introduced new [[List of challenge cards in Mario Kart Tour#Autumn Challenges|unique challenges]], as well as an upgraded [[#Token Shop|Token Shop]], which included the [[Poison Apple Kart]] and [[Swooper (glider)|Swooper]]. Like the [[Yoshi Tour (2021)|2021 Yoshi Tour]], players were able to obtain [[Yoshi (species)|Blue Yoshi]] as a reward for placing high in the tour's ranked cups.

This tour's [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] course was [[3DS Rosalina's Ice World]], which was reused from the [[Rosalina Tour]]. The menu's background featured the [[Big Ben]] and some buildings from the London Loop courses as the landmark of this tour, which was reused from the [[London Tour]] and the [[Baby Rosalina Tour]].

The seventh set of [[List of challenge cards in Mario Kart Tour#Expert Challenges|Expert Challenges]] was made available at the start of this tour, which then ended in the [[New Year's 2022 Tour]], making this tour the first one since the [[Summer Festival Tour]] twenty-eight tours prior to not introduce an Expert Challenges card alongside a [[Team Rally]], though a Team Rally would take place in the [[Toad vs. Toadette Tour|following tour]].

==Today's Challenge==
Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favourite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[3DS Shy Guy Bazaar|3DS Shy Guy Bazaar T]] in the [[Waluigi Cup]] using [[Dry Bones]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
