If the Kongs jump on it but land on the inside of its mouth instead of the tongue, they will be eaten by it and have to shake the controller (press {{button|3ds|x}} or {{button|3ds|y}} repeatedly in the port) to force it to spit them out. If the Kongs fail to do so fast enough or in a certain amount of time, the green Chomp will forcefully launch them into the air and the Kongs will lose a heart.
