She is a minor [[Toad (species)|Mushroom]] character, and like other subjects of the [[Peach's Castle|Mushroom Castle]], Granny is shown worrying about [[Princess Peach]]. To prevent [[Mario]] from using Peach's bed, she demonstrates the ability to recover the party's [[Heart Point|HP]] during the invasion of [[Claymorton]] and his gang of [[Shymore]]s. Later, she disguises herself as Peach, while the real Peach sneaks out of the castle and joins Mario on his adventure to defeat [[Smithy]] and recover the seven [[Star Piece (Super Mario RPG)|Star Piece]]s.
