Granite Getaway is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 6 and Super Mario Party Jamboree.
Granite Getaway is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 6 and Super Mario Party Jamboree. This minigame is likely based on the iconic Raiders of the Lost Ark scene in which Indiana Jones is chased by a giant boulder.

Overview
Introduction
Everyone is looking around wildly, then a giant boulder drops from the ceiling, and the game starts.
The minigame opens with a scene of the characters looking around in a cave before a giant boulder starts rolling their way.

The gameplay involves the players continuing to run from the boulder. Any player squished by the boulder is eliminated, and holding the gcn the entire time is required to avoid this from occurring. There are obstacles to jump over along the way. At the end, the boulder falls through a wooden floor, though a gateway stops the boulder in Super Mario Party Jamboree. Any player who makes it to the end wins. If the boulder squishes every player, it is a tie, but in Super Mario Party Jamboree, this occurs only if every player is squished at once.
Gameplay
The game takes place in a brown cave. The players must run away from the giant rolling boulder behind them. The players have to hold down gcn the whole time, or they are squished by the boulder. Players have to jump to avoid the many obstacles that appear onscreen. After a while, a spot with a wooden floor is reached and the boulder falls through; players who survive up until this point win. If the boulder squashes everyone, the game will end in a tie.

Ending
Players who get to the end of the cave do their victory animations.

The minigame ends with the surviving players doing their victory animations. In Super Mario Party Jamboree, the losers perform their losing animation behind the winning players.
