As Goombas run across the screen, they are sometimes [[Goomba Tower|stacked]] on top of each other. [[Buzzy Beetle]]s might occasionally run across the screen or be present in a stack of Goombas, which may distract the player from counting the Goombas, as Buzzy Beetles are not counted in the correct tally. After all the Goombas and Buzzy Beetles have run across the screen, the players have three seconds to add any more Goombas to their tallies.
