The rally starts with a wide left turn, with a [[List of sponsors debuting in Mario Kart World#Yoshi's|Yoshi's]] building that gives the food item partway through. The track gradually straightens out, then turns to the right and back to the left. There is a slight right turn, and the road narrows and goes uphill. A straight segment with a hill goes through a canyon. It opens up to a wide area with a second Yoshi's to the side. There is then a sequence of three S-bends to the left in a row, of which the first one is slight and the latter two are larger. Turning left once more leads to a section with three of a variant of [[Bramball]]s that function as [[ring (Mario Kart series)|ring]]s. This section is mostly straight but has a slight left turn in the middle. There are then turns to to the right and the left and to the right again. There is a short straightaway before the path joins into [[Mario Bros. Circuit]], where the first checkpoint is.

The race continues with Mario Bros. Circuit driven in reverse, until the point where the U-turn at the beginning of the course is, where the road is redirected with a left turn. There is then a turn to the right into a straight segment, then a turn which starts going to the right, but ultimately goes to the left. This is followed by a slight turn to the right into a quick turn to the left, which goes into a slight slope upwards. The road continues with two spaced-out slight right turns. The road then reaches an unpaved area and widens, before crossing a river. There is an uphill leading to a straight section with bumps that can be used to [[Jump Boost]]. Returning to the narrower paved road, there is a wide S-bend to the right, followed by a slight bump leading into a slight downhill. The downhill goes straight before branching into two paths. Both paths involve the road turning away from the center of the split, but coming back with a U-turn. When the paths rejoin, the road goes straight up two big hills, to the final straightaway before the second checkpoint.

The third segment begins with a tunnel that turns to the right, leading to a long straightaway. After going down a hill, there is a split path very similar to the previous one. The split path exits into a left turn, after which are two [[Ptooie]]s on the course, then a right turn that turns back. There is a large gentle slope down, with the road continuing as a straightaway at the bottom. The road turns left, then goes straight again, then has another left, leading to a third Yoshi's. The next turn is a wide right followed by a wide left. A right turn leads to a section of road where [[Moo Moo|Cow]]s are found, after which it turns right slightly and continues straight, eventually joining into [[Wii Moo Moo Meadows|Moo Moo Meadows]], leading to the third checkpoint.

After some winding back and forth within Moo Moo Meadows, the course continues into a paved road, starting with a pair of quick 90° turns, followed by a slight left turn, then a longer right turn. Next there is a left turn with Cows, which goes into a straightaway. This is followed by a very long gradual right turn that has a [[Chargin' Chuck|Passin' Chuck]] throwing footballs and a Clappin' Chuck crossing the road. When the long turn finally ends, there is a straightaway with a Yoshi's, followed by a left turn. The left turn is followed by a right turn, during which the road goes in a slight downhill slope. The path continues straight, then turns left to head towards [[Mario Circuit (Mario Kart World)|Mario Circuit]], taking a right turn into the [[SNES Mario Circuit 3|Mario Circuit 3]] portion of the course. This eventually leads back to the [[SNES Mario Circuit 2|Mario Circuit 2]] portion, with the fourth checkpoint.<ref name=treehouse/>
