The '''Gold Leaf Galaxy''' is a galaxy in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy]]''. The galaxy greatly resembles, and is basically a mirror of, the [[Honeyhive Galaxy]], with even the exact same music, though it has an autumn environment and some changes such as the disappearance of a cave behind the waterfall and several more planets. Also, the watch tower is now an observatory and is found in another place. [[Cataquack]]s can be found here. This is one of the three bee-themed galaxies, the other two being the Honeyhive Galaxy and [[Honeyclimb Galaxy]].

This planet is almost identical to the Honeyhive Galaxy's main planet but with a few differences. The planet is also always in fall (or autumn). In the first mission there are five Blue Star chips scattered across the planet that Mario must find. Thankfully, Mario is given hints by the [[Star Bunnies]] as to where the star chips are. In the second mission, lots of blue Cataquacks that are owned by the [[Bee|Bees]] cover the starting planet. In the third mission there is a huge tower called the observation deck. The tower is taken over by an [[Undergrunt]] in a bubble cannon called the Undergrunt Gunner.

This is a big wooden planet with several water pools with grates over them. There is a switch that can move the grates and make wooden pegs pop out of the ground.

This is a small wooden planet with a small pool, two Wigglers, and a Cataquack. Mario must get the Cataquack to stand on its symbol and get it to launch Mario up to go to the next planet.

This is a small planet that looks a lot like the [[Gusty Garden Galaxy#Puzzle Cube|Puzzle Cube]] from the [[Gusty Garden Galaxy]]. [[Mario]] must lead the [[Cataquack]] on the planet through the maze, get it to stand on its designated symbol and then launch Mario up to the next planet.

This is a line shaped like an "M". It has three Cataquacks and Mario must get one of the Cataquacks to stand on the end of the planet and get it to launch Mario up to go to the next planet to proceed.

This is a big round planet with a grass area, a dirt area, a pool area, two tall towers (one that looks like a jenga puzzle), and a floating flower garden. This is also most likely where the Cataquacks come from. The power star is at the end of the flower garden.

In this mission, several [[Bunny|Star Bunnies]] are searching for Blue Star pieces. After [[Mario]] collects them all, they create a [[Pull Star]] path which allows the player to reach a planet where the player must catch another Star Bunny. After successfully catching it, Mario will receive a [[Power Star]].

The [[Bee]]s inform Mario that there is an [[Undergrunt Gunner]] on the top of the Gold Leaf Observatory. Using mainly [[Bee Mario|Bee Mushrooms]], Mario must reach the top of the observatory while avoiding the many rain clouds that have gathered. Once he reaches the top, he must defeat the Undergrunt Gunner for a [[Power Star]].

This level is playable when a Purple Comet is in orbit. [[Mario]] must search Gold Leaf Galaxy in most of the area of When It Rains, It Pours for all 100 [[Purple Coin]]s before the time limit finishes. The Bees help remind the player how many [[Purple Coin]]s they should have by the time they talk to them, if it is less then the player has missed some and must backtrack, wasting valuable time.

*There is a group of [[Star Bit]]s to the immediate left of the starting area that form a large letter "L", most likely referring to [[Luigi]]. They are in the same position (mirror-wise) as the group of Star Bits to the right of the starting area in the [[Honeyhive Galaxy]], which form a large letter "M", most likely referring to [[Mario]]. 
*This galaxy is almost the exact mirror opposite of the [[Honeyhive Galaxy]], the only difference being that this galaxy features a fall environment on the main planet, as well as a few minor changes to the surrounding planets (in some cases, different planets were featured altogether).
*On the top of the Starting Planet (where a warp pipe and waterfall starts), if one goes into first person view on the left, a 1-Up Mushroom is on top of a tree. It is believed by some to be impossible to retrieve without hacking. However, there are actually two ways of getting it. The first is to fly to the very top of the level, stand on the wall surrounding the lake, and carefully fly over to the nearest branch of the tree holding the 1-Up Mushroom. From there, the player should fly to the next branch up, and finally to the top of the tree. The second method is to fly to the top of the tree next to the little fountain, just off to the side of the top of the level, and carefully fly to the nearest branch of the 1-Up's tree from there. This second method seems deliberate, as the tree next to the fountain can be safely walked on, but its equivalent in the [[Honeyhive Galaxy]] cannot - [[Mario]] or [[Luigi]] will just slip off.
*The star bunny planet is very similar to the Holey Planet in the [[Cosmic Cove Galaxy]]'s hidden star in [[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]. As they have the same sort of structure, are both used for catching a [[star bunny]] and both have a switch Mario can press to make it easier to catch the bunny.
