To unlock Glare Desert, one must enter the Star Tourney and score 800 points or more on Jr. Street. It is the court where Cactuar is unlocked. He is first seen with his head stuck in the ground. After dribbling it for a while, Cactuar pops up, runs away, and he is then unlocked.
To unlock Glare Desert, one must enter the Star Tourney and score 800 points or more in any game during the Tourney. The court most players do this on is Jr. Street thanks to its slot aspect allowing a lot of potential points if lucky. However, most people consider it worth it because it is on this court where Cactuar is unlocked. He is first seen with his head stuck in the ground. After dribbling it for a while, Cactuar pops up, runs away, and he is then unlocked.

The court is considered the fourth in the Star Tourney, even though it is never actually played on. Glare Desert is a fairly standard court, with only a tornado as a hazard. The tornado will move randomly along the field during play, knocking away any character that touches it. Oddly, it has Mario Stadium's music, and a crowd.
