The '''Ghost Ride''' is a High-End [[kart]] in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]''. It was introduced in the [[Halloween Tour (2019)|2019 Halloween Tour]] and is the signature vehicle of [[King Boo|King Boo (Luigi's Mansion)]]. The kart is designed after a hearse and resembles the {{wp|Ford Model T}}, with a grille resembling a scary face. The exhaust pipes come out from the front, similarly to the [[Mini Beast]] from ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]''. It uses the [[Off-Road]] tires from ''[[Mario Kart 8]]'' and ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'' and features the driver's emblem on the front, sides, and back. Its name is a reference to {{wp|ghost riding}}, the act of exiting a vehicle while it is still in motion and moving along or, in some cases, dancing on top of it. The Ghost Ride increases the duration of [[Rocket Start]] speed boosts and the number of points earned for performing a Rocket Start.

A wedding-themed counterpart of this kart known as the [[Happy Ride]] appears in the game starting with the [[Peach Tour]]. Another counterpart based on a {{wp|Hackney carriage}} and named the [[Black Carriage]] appears in the game starting with the [[Anniversary Tour (2022)|2022 Anniversary Tour]]. Both karts are classified as High-End karts.

==Availability==
The Ghost Ride has only appeared in certain pipes and does not currently appear in the Daily Selects lineup. The following table shows the kart's availability by tour.
