'''Get to Maze Woods''' is the first story of [[Maze Woods|chapter three]] in the game ''[[Wario Land II]]''. After the [[Black Sugar Gang]] escaped [[Wario]] sets out to follow them into the Maze Woods. He starts at the docked [[SS Tea Cup|pirate ship]] and makes his way through a partially flooded system of caverns. Along the way the player will find helpful [[owl (species)|owl]]s which give Wario a ride through the air if he wakes them up. There are three great passages where the player must control the owl while avoiding birds and Kotsuheri. Another rarity is found in this level: Tsuriuo, the fishing fish. It will try to pull the treasure hunter out of the water by using a fake coin as bait. These coins can be distinguished from real ones by their gray color.

==Hidden Treasure: Sapling==

The hidden treasure of this level, the {{conjectural|Sapling}}, is located in the water cavern with the Tsuriuo. It lies behind a door in the upper regions of the cave. Wario cannot go there by normal means so he has to grab one of the Tsuriuo's gray coins. The enemy will pull him out of the water and the player can access the treasure minigame.
