It is available only in Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3, Mario Party 4, and Mario Party: The Top 100. It takes the user to the Star Exchange. In the Bowser's Multiplying Toads event of Mario Party 2 and Spiny Desert in Mario Party 3, a Genie Lamp always takes the user to the real Toad and Millennium Star, respectively. A CPU player in Mario Party 3 only buys a Genie Lamp if they can afford the star as well. In earlier appearances, the Genie Lamp summons the Mushroom Genie or the Genie of the Lamp to transport the user, but in Mario Party: The Top 100, they are warped to the Star Balloon in a puff of smoke.
