'''Gary''' is a rather ordinary [[Goomba]] and a member of [[Bowser]]'s legion of minions, the [[Koopa Troop]]. In ''[[Super Paper Mario]]'', Gary is one of the many Goombas transported to Bowser's wedding to [[Princess Peach]] and later, to [[Count Bleck]]'s castle. In company with an unnamed Goomba, Gary eventually finds [[Luigi]] laying unconscious. Having convinced Luigi to act as their bodyguard, they continue to venture through the castle. Eventually, they find a dead end, and they are caught by [[Nastasia]]. Eventually, Nastasia hypnotises and brainwashes Gary into serving Count Bleck. He then helps hold down Luigi for Nastasia so she can hypnotize and brainwash him into serving Count Bleck as well.
