| '''Gale Hawgs''' are pig enemies found in ''[[Donkey Kong Jungle Beat]]''. They are red with darker red engravings on their bodies and commonly appear in front of tunnels or near pits. They attempt to prevent [[Donkey Kong]] from progressing to the goal by creating mild gales, as their name implies, or even blow Donkey Kong into another obstacle or enemy. A Gale Hawg can be defeated by using a sound wave, and then repeatedly punching it while it is dazed. They have numerous relatives in the game, with [[Mini Pig Poppo]]s and [[Sleep Pig Poppo]]s being more basic and encountered earlier, and [[Kiba Pig Poppo]]s, [[Fire Pig Poppo]]s, and the [[Boss Pig Poppo]] being more dangerous and encountered later. Gale Hawg later reappears in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'' as a [[sticker (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)|sticker]]. In ''[[New Play Control!
