Gale Force is a move that Flurrie mastered in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is available by default, and it uses 4 Flower Points. To perform it, the player has to hold and release gcn a few times with the rhythm. It has the ability to blow unwanted enemies out of battle, defeating them (this doesn't work on bosses). It is more effective against aerial enemies than ground enemies, as explained by Wonky, and can also be used against invisible enemies. This attack can also be used on the field too, revealing any hidden doorways or confusing enemies so Mario and his partners can sneak past or get a first strike. This attack is very similar to Lakilester's Hurricane, but unlike it and similar effects such as the Fright Mask, enemies defeated by Gale Force still drop Star Points.

Gale Force is an offensive move available to Madame Flurrie as soon as she joins the party in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. At the cost of 4 FP, Flurrie produces a strong wind and attempts to banish enemies out of the battlefield, instantly defeating them.

To improve the success rate of the move, the player has to hold and release gcn according to the rhythm shown on screen. Pressing gcn while the button is shown to be pushed will fill the gauge, but pressing it while the button is shown to be released will instead decrease the gauge. If the gauge is filled to its last segment, the move will use its default success rate, and if it is filled any less, the success rate will be decreased.

However, the success rate of the move is also determined by the particular enemy, and Mario's Level. Every enemy has a particular susceptibility to Gale Force. For example, a Pider has a default susceptibility of 70%. This susceptibility is further modified by the relation of Mario's level to the enemy's. The default susceptibility assumes Mario's level is equal to the Pider's (which is level 12). But for every level Mario has over an enemy, Gale Force's success rate grows by 1%, and similarly, for every level by which Mario is lower than the enemy, Gale Force's success rate will decrease by 1%. As such, if Mario encounters a Pider at level 2 (10 below the Pider's), Gale Force will have a 60% success rate instead of 70%, and if Mario encounters a Pider at level 22 (10 above the Pider's), Gale Force will have a 80% success rate instead of 70%. Furthermore, the Action Command will set a modifier to this success rate. Note that enemies immune to Gale Force (whose base susceptibility is 0%) will not scale with Mario's level, so even at level 100, Gale Force will never be able to affect a boss such as Gloomtail.

Unlike Paper Marios Fright Jars, Parakarry's Air Lift, Lady Bow's Spook, Lakilester's Hurricane, and Kalmar's Up & Away, defeating enemies with Gale Force will drop Star Points.

As Flurrie stops blowing wind, the player can press gcn to perform a Stylish move.

Gale Force can also be used in the overworld to blow away various objects, such as bushes, posters and textures with a paper-like crease to reveal items or passages. If used on enemies on the overworld, they will get momentarily stunned, allowing Mario to sneak past or get a First Strike.

Trivia
*Wonky mentions that "flying monsters are weak against wind", and although there is no wind element or wind weakness in the game, flying enemies do overall have higher susceptibility rates to Gale Force compared to grounded enemies.
**Although notably Parabuzzies use incorrect status tables, and are therefore as resistant to Gale Force as their non-flying counterparts.
*Gale Force is one of the few moves that can clear out fog, although it itself can also cause fog.
