Galaxy Arena (Galaxy Colosseum in North America) is an arena in Mario Kart Wii, that can only be played on during special online tournaments. It is essentially a round platform situated in outer space, in a Super Mario Galaxy/Rainbow Road-themed setting. So far, only one tournament has taken place here, but another one is coming.

Galaxy Colosseum (known as Galaxy Arena in the British English version) is an arena that appears in Mario Kart Wii, exclusively during the online Tournaments game mode. The arena is a round platform floating in outer space, modeled after similar platforms in Super Mario Galaxy and Rainbow Road; in addition, the size of the battle stage would be adjusted depending on the tournament objective. Unlike the other courses in the game, its map lacked an outline, and was instead depicted as concentric circles representing the course's different sizes, with a transparent gradient on each. As with Rainbow Road, Star Bits cameo in the background, though they are less brightly colored than normal.

Three tournaments took place on the arena, each with their own unique objectives. In the first tournament, players had to compete for the fastest time by knocking a total of four giant Spiky Topmen off of the arena's edge using only Triple Mushrooms. Players could knock them away with a Mushroom boost. In the second tournament, the outer rings of the arena broke off, and players had to send six Spiky Topmen off of the stage. In the third tournament, some Topmen could run away, and the outer rings no longer broke off.

Due to the ending of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service and subsequent end of Tournaments mode, it is no longer possible to play on this course through normal means.

In the tournament which took place between June 1st and June 10th, 2008, players had to compete for the fastest time by knocking a total of four enlarged Spiked Topmen off the edge of the arena, using nothing but Triple Mushrooms to do so. As the Topmen spun around wildly, players had to watch where they drove, and could only knock them away with a Mushroom boost. Also in the 2nd June tournament of the 15th to the 25th of 2009, it will be the same except the center part of the arena can move.
