Battle Course 3 is a very simple square-shaped course. It has four "L'-shaped walls which separate the course into a main "+"-shaped area and four square corners. The walls are multicolored and have grass within them. In the very middle of the course, there is a large circle of sand which can slow down players.

The course also returns as a Retro Battle Course in ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]''. The inner walls are now color-coded (red, blue, yellow, and green). The music is also remixed, with instrumentation designed to mimic ''Mario Kart: Super Circuit''{{'}}s soundfont. The background is additionally a higher-quality version of ''Mario Kart DS''{{'}}s background for GBA Peach Circuit.
