These caterpillar-like creatures appear predominantly in [[Switchboard Falls]]. Their name is a portmanteau of "[[Fuzzy]]" and "[[Wiggler]]", which they resemble a cross between. Fuzzlers are made up of yellow, orange, and golden spiky balls that damage the player upon contact. Fuzzlers always appear on [[Switchboard]] tracks, and they roll along the [[track]]s in a set path. Two or more Fuzzlers usually appear in a track network, each one going in a separate direction. When Fuzzlers collide, they start moving in the other direction. They can be defeated only with [[Invincible Mario]], [[White Tanooki Mario]], and [[Lucky Cat Mario]]. In the ''[[Bowser's Fury]]'' mode, Fuzzlers with cat-like ears and tails appear on [[Mount Magmeow]]. Several cat Fuzzlers can briefly be seen without their spikes in the cutscene that plays upon the player activating the "Hurry! Steer the Switchboards!" [[Cat Shine]] on Mount Magmeow.
