The name Fronk presumably refers to both the species and the character, [[9-Volt]]'s pet Fronk. In his first appearance in ''[[WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!]]'', he goes by the name of '''Shag''' in the English version, which is derived from his Japanese name '''Shaggy'''. Fronks have their own multiplayer game called [[Islands]]. In this game, two or more players take turns shooting different colored Fronks on a spinning island. This spinning island is marked with several different sections. The section the Fronk lands on determines the player's score.
