They are encountered in the [[level]]s of [[Sea Breeze Cove]], beginning with [[Deep Keep]]. Fritzes resemble {{wp|moray eel}}s and are generally found in spacious areas. Fritz regularly teleport themselves between places through self-generated whirlpools. Before teleporting, they grab their tail into their mouths and start swirling rapidly, producing a load of electricity. The electricity is then discharged in the form of plasma balls, which are spread radially around the enemy and disappear after reaching a certain distance. If the Kongs come into contact with a Fritz or its plasma balls, they lose one heart from their health meter. The [[Kong]]s can defeat a Fritz with a [[Corkscrew (Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze)|Corkscrew]] attack (while it is not charged with electricity) or with [[Cranky Kong]]'s cane swipe.
